Telematics

What is Telematics?

Telematics is a field of science that combines two scientific fields to create a single field of science. The two combined fields are telecommunications and informatics (computer systems).

Nowadays, the term is used as a solution for commercial fleet vehicles. In this regard, telemstics is a method used in monitoring the movement of vehicles or vessels using GPS and onboard diagnostics equipment.
