Kanban Card

What is a kanban card?

Kanban cards originate from the Japanese area and are the core element of every Kanban system. Their purpose is the transparent, visual representation of a task or a work element that has been requested or is already being processed. For this reason, a Kanban card contains important information about the type and status of the respective task - including the deadline, the responsible person and the task overview.

The actual purpose of Kanban cards is to visualise the progress of one or more tasks until their completion. Usually, a Kanban card is specially adapted to the operational requirements and business needs.
