What is Industry 4.0?

Industry 4.0 is generally described as the system of machine-to-machine communication. It allows the use of Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices to build factories which are operated independently.

In summary, Industry is an intelligent networking and the integration of machines and processes. The application of Industry 4.0 is beneficial to companies in the following ways:

  • improved customer to supplier relationship
  • increase the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations
