DHL Freight Terminal in Poznan: Synergies for Regional and Global Markets

Thanks to its central location between the Western and Eastern markets, Poland is developing into an important logistics hub in Europe. With its strong transport network, DHL Freight is prepared for the growing market, especially in the booming e-commerce sector. The DHL Freight terminal in Robakowo near Poznan demonstrates that processes can now be carried out faster, more efficiently, and on a larger scale than ever before.

DHL Freight Poland and Robakowo 2.0

Two milestones are driving the Polish logistics market: DHL Freight Poland became an independent and powerful company in December 2024, and alongside this, the Robakowo 2.0 project was successfully launched. This initiative expands the already extensive cross-dock activities of the terminal in western Poland, which has been operational since September 2023, to include domestic pallet volumes.

DHL Freight Poland will optimize synergies between domestic and international activities at the Robakowo cross-dock through digitization, further improving efficiency and customer service.

With GoGreen Plus, we offer you the opportunity to reduce emissions in a simple way thanks to insetting – exactly where they occur. Your investment goes 100% into the use of green technologies within our network.

Sustainable Infrastructure and Services

The new logistics center in Poland is fully in line with DHL's sustainability strategy to continuously reduce its own environmental footprint and cut emissions to the lowest possible level according to current climate research by 2050. The Robakowo facility features a number of environmental and resource-saving solutions that make it a showcase for sustainable and future-oriented logistics facility design.

Customs Services: a Valuable Part of the Portfolio

Poland is evolving into an international hub. This creates challenges when it comes to handling export, import, and customs tasks. Gerlach is the leading neutral customs service provider in Europe and a wholly owned subsidiary of DHL Group. This means that logistics and customs expertise are united under one roof. In Poznan and everywhere else, DHL Freight customers can rely on Gerlach’s competence.
