DHL Freight Remains Top Employer – for the Fifth Year in a Row

Continuity at the highest level: From 2020 to 2024, the Top Employers Institute has awarded DHL Freight the title of European Top Employer every year. In 2024, a total of 15 of our national companies will receive the prestigious award for their outstanding conditions for employees and excellent HR strategies. For the first time, DHL Global Event Logistics was also honored.

What Distinguishes a Top Employer

Employers who are certified by the Top Employers Institute play a pioneering role in their HR practices. They must undergo a rigorous process to assess and validate their HR policies and specific working conditions – fully meeting or exceeding the best practices in their respective industry. Top Employers also commit to continuously developing their HR practices for a better working environment.

The Top Employer award is conferred every year in January. National companies with more than 250 employees or international companies with more than 2,500 employees are eligible to participate. A best practice questionnaire with over 600 HR practices and topics provides the award criteria. To receive the award, a minimum number of points has to be achieved.
