What is a Warehouse?

A warehouse is a dedicated area or space use for the management and storage of goods. These goods could be raw materials, components or finished products.

For the manufacturers, the warehouse is basically used to store finished goods prior to their distribution for sale. For the retail and wholesale companies, they store goods in the warehouse to quickly replenish empty shelves.
