Warehouse Logistics

What does Warehouse Logistics mean?

Warehouse logistics is a sub-area of corporate logistics that deals with the management and storage of own or third-party goods in warehouses. It is used to describe and determine how goods are received into the warehouse, stored, transported within the warehouse and how goods are dispatched from the warehouse.

In addition, warehouse logistics has the task of receiving materials, checking them for usability and, if necessary, passing them on to the requested position. The aim of warehouse logistics is to make optimum use of the warehouse functions so that the goods can be found at any time both on the warehouse shelf and in the system.
