What is a Twenty-Foot Container Equivalent Unit?
A twenty-foot equivalent unit is a measurement unit of cargo capacity used to describe container ships and terminals. The TEU is equivalent to a 20 feet long (6 meters) and 8 feet wide (2.40 meters) container.
