What are Refrigerated Goods?

Refrigerated goods are goods whose usability and economic value depend on certain temperatures during storage and transport due to their sensitivity. For this reason, they are transported in cold chains with specially equipped vehicles and loading units.

The refrigerated goods usually require seamless monitoring for maintaining normal temperature of the vehicle or storage unit. Examples of refrigerated goods are foodstuffs such as fish, meat and dairy products and pharmaceutical products.

To prevent damage to the goods, temperature between +2 and +8 degrees Celsius must be maintained unless the chilled goods are frozen products such as ice cream.
