Pick-by-Vision
What does Pick-by-Vision mean?
Pick-by-Vision is a paperless picking process in which the work of the picker in warehouse logistics is supported by visual information in his field of vision using augmented reality technology.
With this highly innovative technology within logistics, the information is displayed to the picker directly in his field of vision via data glasses using WLAN technology. All information required for his work (eg. storage location, article quantity) is provided via these data glasses.
So far, there are only first prototypes for research purposes. However, it can be assumed that the development of this technology will progress rapidly due to its great potential, so that pick-by-vision can be used in the future.
