Partial Pallet
What is a Partial Pallet?
A partial pallet is a pallet from which part of the load has been removed, as partial pallets are units that have been broken off in order picking and are left behind when smaller units are ordered as complete packages.
A partial pallet is therefore a pallet that does not contain the usual items, but only a small quantity of items of a certain type. It is a picking quantity that is smaller than a packaging or staging unit. Because the handling of partial pallets differs considerably from the handling of full pallets, they are often stored in a separate storage area, the so-called picking warehouse.
