Overnight

What is Overnight?

The term overnight refers to a form of delivery in which parcels are delivered the very next day. This means that they reach the customer particularly quickly. The delivery service responsible can be either the post office or a private company. The special feature of the overnight delivery service is that, as the name suggests, the parcel is being delivered at night. In order for the shipping process to start on time, the parcels must be received by the parcel service by a certain time. This is usually a consolidated delivery, i.e. the parcels are sent together with other deliveries and pass through numerous interfaces. In general, the overnight delivery method has a high success rate. Only in rare cases are there delays due to adverse weather or traffic conditions.
