No-Read Parts

What does No-Read Parts mean in logistics?

No-Read Parts refers to any type of good that has an incorrect or missing barcode. This means the product cannot be ready by a barcode scanner. In essence, the goods without the barcode are not easily identifiable neither can they be tracked within a warehouse

Barcode is used for identifying a product features and for tracking inventory within a warehouse. Product having no-read parts is not identifiable.
