A forwarding and logistics merchant organises the transportation, dispatches and stores of goods in national and international freight traffic. In addition, the merchant advises customers, plans routes and deployment and calculates offers. Sometimes, the merchant is responsible for the customs clearance. The forwarding and logistics services provider works for postal services, as a forwarding agents and for courier services.
