Europool Pallet

What is a Europool Pallet?

A Europool pallet, colloquially known as a Euro pallet, is a flat wooden pallet that originates from the Europool exchange system.

Standardised according to EN 13698-1, it is a reusable transport pallet with a base area of 0.96 square metres. As a so-called four-way pallet, the Europool pallet can be picked up and transported from all four sides with an automatic industrial truck such as a pallet truck or forklift.

If a wooden pallet fulfils the regulations for Europool pallets with regard to its dimensions and components, it is marked with the protected EPAL symbol by the European Pallet Association (EPAL).

The Europool pallet is a widely used transport aid in road haulage and comes from the Europool loading equipment exchange system.
