Dispatcher

What is a Dispatcher?

A dispatcher is a person working in the communications department of an organisation whose task is to receive and transmit information. Basically, the dispatcher coordinates operations with truck drivers and stakeholders about goods delivery. In addition, the dispatcher monitors the movement of goods and optimises the fleet using transport management system.

A dispatcher receives and transmits information regarding goods deliveries.
