Direct Shipment

What is Direct Shipment?

Direct shipment is a method of directly shipping goods from the manufacturer to the consumer. This delivery scheme bypasses the concept of distribution channel by avoiding the middlemen (wholesaler and retailer).

With this method, both the manufacturer and the consumer benefit from direct shipment. For the supplier, it reduces transportation and storage costs. For the buyer, it reduces delivery time and the price of the product.

Direct shipment is the process of sending goods from the producer to the consumer directly.
