Corporate Logistics

What is Corporate Logistics?

Corporate logistics is the overarching term for the entire logistics activities of a company. The activities include all internal and cross-company aspects of logistics such as shipping, procurement, distribution and production. Logistics tasks arise in every company - regardless of its size and industry.

The aim of corporate logistics is to plan, manage, execute and control the physical flow of goods and the associated flow of information along the entire value chain of a company in the best possible way. Companies that operate in the logistics industry act as service providers and perform logistics tasks for other companies - particularly, the transport of goods.
