Conveying Aids

What are Conveying Aids?

Conveying aids are packaging aids that are used for protecting goods during loading, unloading, storage and transport. In most cases, these aids are sacks, bags, cartons, pallets, containers or storage boxes.

In logistics, conveying aids form loading units i.e. they combine several individual goods into larger units. The conveying aids are basically a component of the respective conveyor system. They are mainly used when the goods to be transported cannot be transported in bulk.
