Trust as the Basis for a Good Working Relationship
Without mutual trust between employers and employees, there can be no work environment in which all employees can contribute and develop according to their individual needs and skills. As an employer, we want to provide a trusting working environment and a fulfilling and secure job. But what do the people who work for DHL Freight themselves have to say?
From May 2nd to 23rd, we invited our employees worldwide to take part in the Great Place to Work® Trust IndexTM survey. The Trust IndexTM measures the level of trust employees experience in their workplace. It is an anonymous survey. This anonymity ensures that feedback is honest and thus provides a reliable picture of workplace culture.
Great Place to Work®
Great Place to Work® is an international research and consulting organization that helps companies assess and improve their workplace culture. Great Place to Work® evaluates a company’s workplace culture by conducting anonymous employee surveys and analyzing human resources practices. Each year, outstanding employers are awarded the Great Place to Work® certificate.
Die Trust IndexTM survey consists of 60 statements measured on a special scale, divided into five dimensions of trust:

- Respect
- Fairness
- Pride
- Camaraderie
DHL Freight locations in 17 countries around the world participated in the survey. Thousands of our colleagues took the opportunity to share their thoughts on working at DHL Freight and how they perceive us as an employer.
