Warehouse Software

What is a Warehouse Software?

Warehouse software is software that is used to monitor, control and execute all processes in warehouse management. It helps with complex, error-prone and time-consuming warehousing and is intended to contribute to the efficiency and optimisation of warehouse management.

Warehouse software tracks the flow of goods from order to storage and delivery, and keeps the current stock always up-to-date. It can also help to centralise and automate data and processes such as shipping, accounting and invoicing.

To use warehouse software, an appropriate IT environment is required. However, browser-based warehouse software is also available for small to medium-sized companies - but it is not suitable for the increasing orders and quantities of goods with increasing success. This is because it can hardly be integrated into the administrative process.
