With a stronger presence and a clear focus on the B2C segment, DHL Freight is expanding its market position in Sweden, with a particular emphasis on growing its presence in the e-commerce sector. Since summer, a dedicated marketing campaign has been rolled out, aimed directly at consumers.
Greater Availability and Higher Quality
The goal is to further enhance service quality for online shoppers, meeting their purchasing and delivery preferences more effectively. DHL aims to become the top choice for both senders and buyers across Sweden. The installation of 1,000 parcel lockers was a key first step in providing greater availability and quality for online shopping and parcel delivery to consumers.
DHL is a leading global logistics player, but we are also a reliable partner for parcel deliveries to private individuals all over Sweden. We offer comprehensive delivery solutions for end consumers.

Expanded Services from DHL Freight
This service expansion is made possible by integrating DHL’s eCommerce division into DHL Freight. In other words, DHL Freight now delivers online purchases directly to Swedish households. This extension of DHL’s services aligns with the company’s global strategy to strengthen its capabilities in the e-commerce sector.
The investment marks a long-term commitment, encompassing several initiatives – from electrifying last-mile deliveries to digitizing services and expanding the parcel locker network, as well as introducing new services.
A Lighthearted Campaign Targeting Consumers
The accompanying marketing campaign, launched in early June, humorously highlights how DHL’s services meet consumer needs, making daily life easier with seamless e-commerce and delivery solutions.
We have a range of delivery options that make it easy for our customers to have their parcels delivered in the way that suits them best.

From Unicorns to Motorcycles – DHL Delivers It All
In one playful commercial, a young girl is in urgent need of unicorn-themed plates for her upcoming party. Another ad features a motorcyclist who’s ready to hit the road but only has a bicycle helmet handy. Both situations are quickly solved with an online order and fast delivery. The commercials and banner ads are aimed at consumers and are featured on news sites, many other Swedish websites, social media platforms, and YouTube.
