Proof of Delivery (POD)

What is a Proof of Delivery?

A Proof of Delivery (also known as a POD) is a document signed by the recipient to confirm the delivery of goods in a good condition. By releasing a POD, the customer knows that his goods were delivered successfully.

The POD can also be used to document loss or damages. As an important document, POD prevents misunderstandings between the customers and businesses so, it saves time.

When it comes to a matter of proof, POD helps to prevent conflict. The document is used to show that the goods ordered were successfully delivered.
