What does Person-to-Goods mean?
Person-to-Goods refers to the type of order picking where the order picker remains in one position while the ordered goods is brought to him through a system. In simple term, products are moved directly to the picker, who then picks what is needed to fulfil customer orders.
The person-to-goods is suitable for light goods and small order sizes. The advantage of this method is that the investment costs are comparatively low.
