Logistics Planning

What is Logistics Planning?

Logistics planning aims to achieve a balance between high efficiency and high delivery readiness. As a core function in the logistics management process, it serves the efficient and forward-looking coordination of storage, transport, handling and support processes which serve to ensure the supply of goods to those who need them.

The cost of efficient logistics planning increases with the increasing division of labour. Today, most companies depend on smooth logistics planning. But no matter what size or sector: each time, an individual concept has to be developed that is precisely adapted to the requirements of the respective company. Foresight and experience are essential.
