Disposition

What is Disposition?

The term disposition comes from the Latin words and means allocation, division, arrangement or administration.

In business, a disposition is a decision that is incorporated into the production process as an order. Either a computer or an employee decides how this order is processed. The administrative activity of this employee or dispatcher includes the timing of the movement of goods.

In the transport and logistics sector, a scheduler is responsible for ensuring that goods and merchandise are transported to a specific point, considering all traffic-related conditions. The scheduling is based on decision rules, computer-aided scheduling systems and decision models.
