Customs

What does Customs mean?

Customs is a government agency or authority that regulates the flow of goods into and out of a country. Most importantly, the customs deals with the collection of duties levied on imported goods.

In other words, customs means a place at a port, airport or frontier in which government officials control incoming goods, people (travellers) and other loads.

Customs are government authorities in charge of issuing clearance for the importation and exportation of goods.
