Certificate of Conformance

What is a Certificate of Conformance?

Certificate of Conformance is a document which certifies that the goods or services supplied meet the required standards. The document is a way of ensuring that consumers in the importing countries are protected against harmful or sub-standard products.

Arriving goods which do not meet the standards, as specified by the importing country may not be allowed in. In some cases, the transported goods are confiscated.

This document is also called the Certificate of Compliance and the Certificate of Conformity.
