Pick and Pack

What does Pick & Pack mean?

Pick & pack is a system of selecting customer’s orders and placing them directly into a shipping box. This system eliminates the need for repacking for shipping, thereby makes packing faster. Mostly, pick and pack is used by e-commerce retailers for the delivery of small orders.

Once all items have been picked, the delivery note is signed and packing materials added to the box alongside the product. The order is then ready for dispatch. The system is only suitable for smaller orders. For large orders, the goods are usually first taken out of the warehouse and then packed.
