What the GDP Certificate Means for You<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The EU Directive on Good Distribution Practice (GDP) for medicinal products for human use was introduced in 2013 to provide seamless control over the entire supply chain of finished and intermediate pharmaceutical products. High demands are being placed on those involved in pharmaceutical logistics: from temperature and humidity control in vehicles and warehouses to the IT networking of cold chains with serial number tracking. Documentation and monitoring along the entire supply chain ensure compliance with due diligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The certification body Dekra has granted DHL Freight the GDP certificate for more than 20 countries. The certificate is valid in all countries, business units, and locations where DHL Freight and its subsidiaries offer GDP-compliant FTL transportation.
